Work Plan

The figure shows the work packages of the GET Service project as well as their dependencies, following the strategy explained in the previous paragraph.

The figure shows a cyclic development approach, starting with end-user studies and ending with enduser tests (WP1). During the end-user studies, the possible uses of the GET Service platform are determined as well as the requirements that follow from that. In addition the success criteria of the GET Service platform will be determined, including a metric that can be used to measure CO2 emission and an emission reduction target. During the end-user tests, the platform is tested in realworld case studies, to determine whether the success criteria, including the desired CO2.

The usage scenarios will be directly supported by end-user services (WP3). End-user services involve route planning services and transportation management services.

The integration of the various components of the GET Service platform is ensured in WP2, which entails the specification of a standardized message exchange, the development of core platform components and the integration of the various components. To ensure successful integration, all project partners are involved in the specification and integration.

The advanced platform components are built on top of that (WP4-WP7) and together these components support the end-user services (WP3).
